Does anyone else anticipate the new Anthropologie window styling like I do? Creativity abounds with each change of the season! Here’s what you’ll see soon at an Anthro window near you!
“Anchored by cardboard-crafted moorings, floating dinghies, wave-swept bouys and knotted towlines, they salute the cherished maritime memories of summer, while we set our sails into autumn.”

Cat Deeley, the gorgeous host of So You Think You Can Dance, has amazing style! (Another one of my girl crushes!) Recently she shared some of her favorites from her closet with InStyle. It includes everything from vintage flea market finds to couture and she has a keen eye for Dries, Dior and McQueen menswear!
Cat found this boho top at a vintage flea market in LA for $20!
Christian Dior men’s jacket.
Matthew Williamson gown worn to an Oscar party
Alexander McQueen blazer worn with a vintage Rolling Stones t, a gift from her boyfriend
My favorite of the bunch – Prada cape purchased in Milan to wear to a U2 concert. To die 4!
Roland Mouret dress – timeless!
Vintage cape that she shares with her boyfriend
Love you, Cat! Keep bringing that style inspiration!
I have a HUGE girlcrush on Emerson of Emersonmade. She and her husband and partner, Ryan, make hand-dyed, hand-stitched blooms and accessories.
I love her style! She has a way of mixing her whimsical flowers with tailored mens-wear basics that is brilliant!
I think her husband, Ryan, wears the flowers well too! Don’t you?
I’m crazy about this new clutch!!
You’ll love her blog! It’s one of my favorites! Enjoy Emerson!
When I’m in a “style funk” I pull out one of my favorite books - The Satorialist. The author, Scott Schuman, enjoys taking pictures of people on the street that look great. He has turned this passion into an art form. He travels the world looking for his subjects and has an incredible blog where he journals with photography. Find his book here and his blog here. Must have and must see!
The next two books are on my wish list. Facehunter was put together by street style blogger, Yvan Rodic. (Are you seeing a trend?) Yvan has traveled to nearly thirty cities looking for people who show the diversity of our world’s cities in their clothes. You can find his blog here. His photography is beautiful and I can’t wait to see this book!
The Selby is another one of my favorite blogs. Todd Selby’s passion is for creative people’s personal spaces. His blog is beautiful, so I know that his book, The Selby in Your Place, will not disappoint. You’ll find that creative people live in incredibly color-rich, eclectic environments.
I just checked Amazon and they currently have a deal! Purchase all three of these together and it’s $56. Get them all and let me know which one is your favorite!
