I’m honored to be in the company of four amazing women on the host committee as we welcome design and lifestyle bloggers to get a “peek” at the latest home design trends in some of Dallas Market Center‘s most impressive showrooms.   During January’s market we enjoyed kicking off our time together with HGTV’s cutie-pie, John Gidding, and this time we’ll overlook the Dallas skyline and sip cocktails with Bill Rancic!

We’ll also have the privilege of meeting the “Queen of Upscale, Hand-crafted, Hand-painted furniture”, Amy Howard, at another cocktail reception.  (Are you seeing a pattern here?)

A few posts back I told you about Stash’s third market experience, but I need to finish my story of Market Madness by sharing my experience at the first ever Dallas Market Center’s Sneak Peek….an exclusive behind the scenes look at some of the best showrooms and design products in the World Trade Center.

We kicked off our fun time together with a little champagne and HGTV‘s adorable John Gidding.  Yes…he’s even more charming and handsome in person… and genuinely a nice guy!

Park Hill Collection are masters at finishing their products “just right”…to make each have the feel and look of the real vintage deal!

I was SO excited that one of these lovely candles was included in our swag bag that we got at the end of the day!

Top trends?  Gold, Modern lines and Texture!  All evident in Studio A’s showroom!  Full of statement pieces with such attention to detail!

Lady Primrose is well-known in Dallas and, as we learned, with the Queen Mother herself!  We were all instructed to dust our sheets with powder rather than spraying them with linen spray!  (Note to self…find some dusting powder for my favorite Peacock Alley sheets!)

We all needed a pair of sunnies after leaving the Swarovski showroom…  Lots of bling with a definite edge!

We ended the day at Curry & Co‘s recently expanded showroom (my fav) for cocktails, delicious bites from Bolsa and lighting eye-candy galore!

Curry & Company‘s intention is to be a complete ceiling to floor collection.  This has got to be one of the most truly complete collection of designs that has something for everyone…all quality…at a price range for everyone!  I love it!

At the end of the day we said good-bye to our new blogging buddies and left with the most amazing swag!!  Score!!

guru, Ben Morrow, we have exorcized the evil demons that were terrorizing my ability to post for the last few weeks! …And getting back in the “blog saddle” couldn’t come at a better time, since this weekend I’m helping host “Sneak Peek”, Dallas Market Center‘s first blogger’s conference.

I couldn’t be in better company, as the host committee is fab!  Be sure to check out some of my favorite blogs that my host friends write!  (Please promise not to compare and stop following me after you fall in love with them!)

Tonight we’ll have a champagne toast with that HGTV hottie, John Gidding, to kick off a weekend full of inspiration!  I can’t wait to share what I find to be the latest trends in design!

One showroom that I can’t wait to see if the newly updated Curry & Co. space!  They’ve recently expanded their space in order to offer more events for all of us who love their fabulous home furnishing!  Stay tuned for more event information coming soon!
