I found this great use of rosemary on the Framed blog and she got it from The Pioneer Woman.  You must check out both of these sites….they’re beautiful!

If you have an herb garden, you know that it’s a “use it or lose it” situation when fall arrives.  This is a great use for all of that rosemary that you won’t be able to use once the first cold snap hits.  This is such an easy thing to whip up for an impromptu visit from neighbors or friends and would be a perfect pairing for wine.

Rosemary Skewers

Rosemary sprigs, leaved striped except for top 2 inches

Cubes of fresh mozzarela

Marinated artichoke hearts

Genoa salami, sliced thin and folded

1/2 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar

Salt and fresh ground pepper

Ground thyme

Thread the cheese, artichoke hearts and salami on to the rosemary skewers in any order or amount you like.  Mix the olive oil, vinegar and spices until thoroughly combined and then brush onto the skewers.  Arrange on a plate and enjoy!
