Monday, May 2nd, 2011The Royal wedding has left me fascinated by fascinators! I’m lucky to have the Queen Mother of milliners in my own neighborhood and I’m dying to go to her atelier and try a few out!
After learning her trade at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and selling to some of the best hat stores in Manhatten, Cassie MacGregor, of The House of MacGregor, moved back to her hometown of Dallas and has been making hats in Oak Cliff since 2008 using traditional millinery techniques. Here’s a few of her fascinators I’d love to try! Don’t you love the one that she’s wearing below?
For those of you outside the Dallas area with an interest in sporting a little British style, check out Etsy for a wide selection. Click on each picture to take you directly to the link…

So who’s ready to join me in a little fascinator fashion?
