I just spotted the art of Isabelle de Borchgrave at If It’s Hip It’s Here and I’m blown away!  She’s currently featured at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.  The exhibit features 60 costumes made from paper in the first big retrospective of the past 15 years of her work.  Simply amazing…

The Royal wedding has left me fascinated by fascinators! I’m lucky to have the Queen Mother of milliners in my own neighborhood and I’m dying to go to her atelier and try a few out!

After learning her trade at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and selling to some of the best hat stores in Manhatten, Cassie MacGregor, of The House of MacGregor, moved back to her hometown of Dallas and has been making hats in Oak Cliff since 2008 using traditional millinery techniques.  Here’s a few of her fascinators I’d love to try!  Don’t you love the one that she’s wearing below?
