Surely I can find a place for this adorable mid-century rocker from Urban Outfitters! ($289)
What’s not to love, right?
Isn’t this recycled furniture incredibly creative and amazing? Katie Thompson‘s passion and flair for transforming the ordinary to the extraordinary was the fuel be
hind REcreate.
She turns discarded junk into gems and give each piece a new function.
I adore this hatbox turned ottoman!
See the rest of Katie’s lovelies here!
Indie Genius has a great selection of cool chairs right now. Check out some of my favs that are perfect for sprucing up with paint or new fabric! Here’s what I spotted tonight at the holiday party for the Oak Cliff Women in Business group.
This adorable bench and chair is part of my collection of vintage finds at Stash. I’m crazy about that bench!
For those of you who really want to stretch out, here’s another beauty from Stash! Linen and down-filled cushion….need I say more? It can be yours!
This little chair has already had a face lift! So cute!!

Eames Molded Plastic Rocker – Found at Design Within Reach – $479
I love my Eames rocker and wouldn’t trade it for the world! If you need a less expensive version, check out Overstock.com.
I haven’t seen this chair in person, but the picture looks like a great alternative and close to dead-on design!
Vinnie White Cradle Chair – found at Overstock.com – $150.71
I am crazy nuts about this couple’s gorgeous furniture and textiles that they design and import. Sang Won Hwang and Serena Sandra Weaver are based in Charlottesville, VA and deal in completely hand-made pieces derived from natural materials in India.
My favorites are the pink and gray inlaid chests.
Also, don’t miss their vegetable dyed 100% cootton textiles designed with wood blocks. Amazing!

I’m a sucker for a good consignment store and now I can add another one to my list of favorites. Area 25 is on West Lover’s Lane and is named for it’s Mapsco location.

Area 25
This little cottage on Lover’s Lane is full of treasures that the owner, Cheryl Lawrence, has collected from years of staging some of the nicest homes in Dallas.

Area 25
You’ll be surprised how big this shop really is. There’s a major addition at the back of the lot that holds floor to ceiling furniture and accessories.

Area 25
Right when I stepped in the door I spotted these cute reupholstered grey velvet chairs that I’m kicking myself for not nabbing.

Area 25
Another favorite was this white leather ottoman with great nail head trim. You’ll find everything from cowhide rugs to oil paintings… old and new.

Area 25
Another added bonus is that two doors down sits the greatest place for lamp shopping, but….I’ll save that info for another post.
What’s your favorite consignment furniture store? I have lots….I’m just getting started!
