Design*Sponge is one of my favorite blogs and last week they featured the house of freelance interior designer and still-life stylist, Karen Barlow, from Manchester, England. I am CRAZY about the hot pink couch and “citrine” wall (Little Greene Paint Company paint) in her back room.

Her use of color and “no fear” approach is brilliant! Karen used “Flora & Fauna” wallpaper from Anthropologie on the complimentary wall. I contacted Karen to tell her how I adored her amazing home and she let me know that the sofa and side chairs are Georgian antiques and recovered in velvet. She said, “…it goes to show that there are some great bargains out there with a little bit of work and a little bit of cash, can make stunning centre pieces for the home.”
