The Proenza  Schouler Spring 2012 collection shown at NY’s Fashion week was impressive….but the one thing that has me wanting more were the little camera bags!

I won’t be surprised if we don’t see many knock-off of these very soon!

…I’m sure that this model is cursing the day that she started biting her nails…bless her heart…

I wish the adorable chain strap was cross-body length…then this bag would be perfection for me!

I have my late Uncle John’s old camera and leather bag, so it looks like I’ll create my own vintage version of this Proenza hit!  What do you think?  Does it work?

Tribal Treats

Friday, February 18th, 2011

I recently heard from my sweet friend Kimberly Hartman, of JADEtribe, and she shared some shots of her Spring line and a few exciting things to look forward to from her fair trade company with a great big heart!

She’s launching a new website sometime next week and then adding ecommerce in April!  These gorgeous bags and accessories have been sold in boutiques around the world, but many of my friends in smaller or outlying markets may have been limited in their ability to have access to shop the full line, so I’m thrilled that all of you will now be able to get these treasures!

If you’re in the Dallas area, you can find brand new Spring shipments at Merge and Cabana.  Other JADEtribe retailers around the world can be found here.

Find JADEtribe here and watch for the new website very soon!  I’ll keep you posted and remind you about the Ecom launch on my Facebook page!
