Confession: I’m a flash sale junky. I’m too embarrassed to tell you how many flash sale email announcements I get on a daily basis. We love them all, right?
Well, I just found out about a new one that I’m pretty excited about! It’s all about all things made in the USA!

Last year I found a spot in Dallas, up on a hill, where I could see 5 firework displays at once! I think I’ll go back to that spot this year… What are you doing to celebrate our independence?

Match-matchy is not for me…that’s why I’m putting these Bygones Flatware Bundles, from BHLDN, on my wish list! They’re beautifully mismatched vintage silver-plated utensils gathered from flea markets and estate sales across the country. These imperfect sets are perfection to me!

Each bundle, set of 10 pieces, $68
I also love mixing up my china. I have a hard time passing up a pretty vintage plate at a garage sale or thrift store. If you lack the time to search for these treasures, you can rely on Greenhouse Design Studio to pick the perfect unmatched set for you!

This sustainable company even offers a gift registry! Brilliant! Find all of Greenhouse Design Studio’s mismatched goods here.

Do you like to “mix it up” or are you the “matchy-matchy kind?

O.M.G. I just learned about Laviva Home from Remodelista and I’m pretty sure someone just snuck into my mind and collected all of the textiles that I love and created this shop. Once again, wishing we had ‘touchavision’!

Temoayan blankets…absolute perfection for any bed!

Turkish Hammon towels…great for bath or beach.

Bolivian Frasada…vintage handwoven textile…these make great rugs, blankets, throws or tablecloths.

Alpaca blanket…so warm and beautiful.

Mexican coverlet…cotton muslin with embroidery, fits a full/queen bed.

Mogolian lambswool…love these on the floor beside your bed so that your feet get a soft treat when they hit the ground in the morning.

Mohair throw…way too pretty to leave at home! Wear it!

Suzani…true works of art…love these hung on a wall.
There’s more…check out my favorite textiles at Laviva Home.

The opening celebration party of Dwell With Dignity’s Thrift Studio was a grand success! This pop-up shop, in the heart of the design district, will be open during the month of October featuring items from Jan Showers and David Sutherland along with a big variety of donated items …vintage and new. The plan is to open Thrift Studio bi-annually to help raise funds for Dwell With Dignity. After attending the grand opening on Friday night, it just moved to the top of my list for finding luxury for less!

Five of Dallas most creative designers were asked to peruse the Dwell With Dignity warehouse and create a vignette with their pick of the donated goods. These vignettes were the highlight of the night and proved to be a great marketing tool, as “SOLD” stickers covered most of the items early in the evening.

Pulp Design Studio

Pulp Design Studio ~ I am crazy about this daybed! Swoon!!

Jones Baker ~ I bought two things from this space…can you guess what they are?

Swoon [The Studio]

Swoon [The Studio] ~ I wish I had a better photo of this space! Sam did an amazing job and this picture doesn’t do it justice! I’m nuts over that aged mirror hanging with a rope. I have a feeling I’m going to regret not buying it…

Studio Ten 25

Studio Ten 25 ~ Those yellow foo dogs were fab!

EJ Interiors ~ Turquoise and orange = Color Perfection!

No design celebration is ever complete without Peacock Alley linens!! Looks like whoever dressed this bed read our ‘Build A Better Bed’ series! Peacock Alley is now dressing the beds of Dwell With Dignity’s design recipients! Just one more reason to love their linens!

Tisha Clark, me and Amy Lee, of House of Wentworth

I limited myself to one cakeball… Divine!

Did you guess what I bought?

These quirky paper mache heads had to make it home with me…as well as the worn leather chair that I’m sitting in…

I love the worn arms…
There’s still great deals there! Be sure to make it over sometime during the month of October!
