I just got my first peek at some of the items that will be sold in the 4th Junk and Disorderly Sale and I’m pretty sure my heart rate increased a bit! There’s nothing that gets me more fired up than the anticipation of digging through good junk and imagining the possibilities of what that junk could become!
Uncommon Market has long been one of my favorite spots for finding treasures and the opportunity to get at what’s been in their warehouse makes my heart skip a beat!
Take a look at some of the goodies you’ll find at the sale!
These trunks would make great coffee tables or toy storage at the foot of a little boy’s bed!
I spy some great bamboo that needs to be a curtain rod in someone’s home!
Pottery! My favorite! Uncommon Market suggests painting old pottery with chalkboard paint to use in the kitchen to announce what’s for dinner!
Lots of cast iron ready for the garden!
Lamps wired and ready to go…or ready for a coat of paint!!
Old beach chairs, missing the cloth…what a great project!
A pile of mannequin stands, minus the mannequin…the possibilities are endless! Table base…light fixture? What’s your idea?
Did you see any treasures that you must have? This is just scratching the surface! Can. Not. Wait!
It’s time for another amazing edition of Dallas Market Center’s Sneak Peek!
I’m honored to be in the company of four amazing women on the host committee as we welcome design and lifestyle bloggers to get a “peek” at the latest home design trends in some of Dallas Market Center‘s most impressive showrooms. During January’s market we enjoyed kicking off our time together with HGTV’s cutie-pie, John Gidding, and this time we’ll overlook the Dallas skyline and sip cocktails with Bill Rancic!
We’ll also have the privilege of meeting the “Queen of Upscale, Hand-crafted, Hand-painted furniture”, Amy Howard, at another cocktail reception. (Are you seeing a pattern here?)
Here’s the really important part! Sign up NOW (before May 31st) and only pay $50! (Yes, you heard me right…) Sign up quickly!! This event is limited to the first 50 bloggers to register! Don’t delay! Find all of the details here! Will I see you there?
I recently got an email from my friend, Carley Seale, owner of one of my favorite spots, The Gypsy Wagon, and the message made my day. The reason I write this blog is to share things that I find exceptional and when I hear that something I have posted has “struck a chord” with you, it brings me great joy!
**”I just left a comment, but I am totally ordering this!
Also, I wanted to tell you Johnny is ordering a signature necklace for me for Mother’s Day. I have a letter from my mother that she wrote me on my 18th birthday. It is subscribed to “Dearest Carley” in her perfect handwriting. That is what we are using for the signature. I thought you would like that!
Love the Hidden List!
What an amazing idea!! How dear to wear the unique handwriting of a loved one…
I just had to share this with you guys while the post about the signature necklace is relatively fresh…
If you find something on my blog that “speaks to you”, please let me know. It will help guide my search for more exceptional things that you’ll enjoy!
Thank you, sweet Carley, for sharing this with me! This is what keeps my blogging!
If you’re looking for a great gift for Mom for Mother’s Day, head to The Gypsy Wagon!
Through Friday, May 10th, you’ll be able to enter your Mama in the “$500 Make Over My Mama” contest! The winner will receive a private styling appointment with a Gypsy Wagon stylist, a new outfit, a haircut and style from Halo Salon, and a Big Reveal Party for the winning mom and her family! How fun is that?
There’s something for everyone at The Gypsy Wagon, so don’t delay!
Do not even think about missing my friend and oh-so talented designer, Denise McGaha’s curated sale at Joss & Main on Tuesday at 9pm EST. (That’s 8pm for you Dallas peeps!)
Expect to see items with a “rustic modern vibe” like this McGaha designed space…
Sign up here prior to the sale if you’re not signed up on Joss & Main. The sale will likely last 3 days, but you’ll want to be there right when it starts to have first pick! Check Denise’s site to get a sneak peek prior to the sale! Happy Shopping, Ya’ll!
