I’m delighted to introduce you to the amazing designs of Casa Cole, a one-stop shop for interior accessories. Their hand-picked items are selected by an interior designer that is passionate about sharing high-end designer level product with every day customers.
Their selection of mirrors is excellent! I love the shape of these mirrors that they recently placed in this beautiful bathroom designed by Design Studio 2010. The chandelier is also a Casa Cole product!
If you have an older bathroom that needs a facelift, getting rid of the wall mirror, replacing it with individual mirrors above the sinks and adding a beautiful chandelier is such an easy way to update the look. Find this mirror here and see their full selection of mirrors here.
Now is the perfect time to freshen up your interior because Casa Cole is offering The Hidden List readers a 15% discount off of any items on their site through the end of February! Simply use coupon code: HL15 Thanks, Casa Cole!!
What room in your home needs an update? Let me know, so I can share a few tips on updating your specific space!
You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg at an office supply or storage store in order to mark off the “Get Organized” line on your resolution list! Look around your home, or local thrift store, and get creative!
Keep a decorative bowl by the door and establish the habit of dropping your keys there as soon as you walk in. You’ll never lose your keys in your house again! I also love to use them in a shelf in my closet as a pretty way to store my jewelry…
Glass containers also make a pretty jewelry display…

What in the world would we do without ziploc bags? I use them for everything! They’re a must for keeping small toys or game pieces together.

Take a look inside this medicine cabinet! I love the way they used the magnetic containers for rubber bands and hair pins…

These vintage suitcases are prefect for storing old memorabilia and makes an interesting vignette.

Did you have “get organized” on your list of resolutions? What’s your favorite organization tool?
It’s time to drink champagne…
dance on the table…
sing Auld Lang Syne…
wear something sparkly and accessorize with big bows or stars in your hair…
toot your horn…
and kiss the one you love at midnight!
Oh, and don’t forget to eat something sweet, because we’ll all resolve to be skinnier next year!
I can’t wait to do 2012 with you!!
It’s up to you whether or not you want to share this Black Friday sales scoop…
The Gypsy Wagon is having a Black Friday sale that all home decor enthusiasts (and regular folks too!) will adore!
In preparation for a mini store make-over and home decor labels switcheroo, they will honor 30% off of their entire stock of home goods on Friday, November 25. This includes non-seasonal pillows, lamps, tabletop, barware, curtains and more!*
Handblocked eco-friendly label, Kerry Cassill, will lead the way in stellar bedding discounts with a 40% off mark on Black Friday, and that will continue through Christmas! Get there early for the best selections!!
This is one of my favorite boutiques in Dallas. You will seriously find something for everyone on your gift list, so go there first and save yourself all of that nasty mall nonsense!
Oh…and don’t worry…if you keep this scoop to yourself, I won’t hold it against you…
These vintage inspired star light fixtures are as close as you’ll get to the real deal!
Michael West, owner of West Vintage Trading Company, ages the metal used in these fixtures and God ages the wood…He calls this look “farm punk”…and I love it!
What in the world would I do with these, you ask? I would hang them on my fence in my backyard, close to my deck…perfect for a Texas bbq!
Michael will even put your own custom spin on your star by painting the star or staining the wood to your specifications. Aren’t they fun?
Would you paint your star a color? Where would you put your shining star?
I’m loving these custom silhouettes in Jennifer Alexis’ etsy shop! You choose the chevron and provide a picture and she’ll send you a work of art!
O.M.G. I just learned about Laviva Home from Remodelista and I’m pretty sure someone just snuck into my mind and collected all of the textiles that I love and created this shop. Once again, wishing we had ‘touchavision’!
Temoayan blankets…absolute perfection for any bed!
Turkish Hammon towels…great for bath or beach.
Bolivian Frasada…vintage handwoven textile…these make great rugs, blankets, throws or tablecloths.
Alpaca blanket…so warm and beautiful.
Mexican coverlet…cotton muslin with embroidery, fits a full/queen bed.
Mogolian lambswool…love these on the floor beside your bed so that your feet get a soft treat when they hit the ground in the morning.
Mohair throw…way too pretty to leave at home! Wear it!
Suzani…true works of art…love these hung on a wall.
There’s more…check out my favorite textiles at Laviva Home.
