Every year Pantone searches the world for color influences.  This can include anything from socio-economic conditions to hot new artists.  For more than a decade, Pantone has influenced the design world, as well as purchasing trends.

Today they announced that Pantone 17-5641 Emerald will be their 2013 Color of

the Year!  **Applause!**

Pantone says,  ”Emerald, a vivid, verdant green, enhances our sense of well-being further by inspiring insight, as well as promoting balance and harmony.”

Personally speaking, this color green is one of my favorites!  Here’s a bit of emerald inspiration to kick off the Year of Emerald!
