Snap To It

I’m a huge fan of using vintage clipboards to display collections.  Not long ago I found a journal at a flea market that an art teacher kept with miniature versions of her art projects that she taught in the classroom.  I think these pages would be the perfect collection to display on old clipboards.  I may be selling them as a complete set at Stash’s next sale at market (in June) since I don’t have enough wall space to display them in my home. (More info coming soon about that sale!)

Here’s a few examples of great art displays on clipboards…

Sometimes it’s hard to find old clipboards…I know, you can always find new ones,  but isn’t it more fun to find old ones for 25 cents at garage sales?…SO, I thought I would include a great DIY  that I think looks great!

This clipboard actually doesn’t start with a clipboard at all!  It starts with a mini chalkboard which allows you to create a unique boarder around your art!  Here’s a quick video tutorial that anyone can do!  Even if you’re not the artsy-craftsy type…

I love following EZ from Creature Comforts blog, which is where these these DIY videos came from.  You’ll love following her too!

What’s your favorite way to display art collections?  Do you ever change out displays?  What’s your favorite way to do this?

We saw an idea on Pinterest that my sister now uses for her 7 kids. She uses clipboards to display their ever-growing ever-changing current piece of art. She has them hung in their everyday dining area with the word “ART” with big painted wooden letters above them all. So easy and looks cleaner than the fridge covered with them all.

I love this! So many different ways of displaying art on clipboards. And thanks for the DIY as well.
