Many of you are thinking, “This is old news!”, but  I’m amazed at how many of my friends still don’t know that these discount sites are out there!  This post is for the folks that are still paying “retail” when there’s opportunity to save!  All it takes is a little time and patience!

Here are some of my favorite sites from which I get daily feeds that keep me posted on the best deals of the day!  Some are daily auctions that rely on public interest to determine the depth of the deal: others are daily auctions that require you to get there first to steal the deal!

Gilt.com is the site I’ve used the most.  It just keeps getting better and better with deals up to 70% off, but you have to hit the auction right when it opens!  Things go fast!  Set your phone alarm for 11am CST and get there first!  Once you’re a member, you can invite your friends and earn credit when they make a purchase.  Each sale lasts 36 hours and features several specific high-end designers.

Ideeli provides you access to luxury items at deeply discounted prices, but also lifestyle experiences such as VIP passes to fashion shows, tickets to sold-out concerts, etc.  This is also another one of my favorites.  I bought my Hobo wallet that I love so much here!  (Once you own one of these you’ll never have anything but a Hobo again!)

Hautelook provides access to a wide array of brands daily.  Today there was designer clothing for men, women and children, sunglasses, watches, toys, furniture, art and jewelry...all high-end…discounted up to 75%.

Shop It To Me is the most personalized of the sites.  You pick your favorite stores and brands and sizes and you’ll receive email alerts featuring the latest markdowns, secret promotion codes and VIP sale events.  You can also chose daily, weekly, or twice a week emails.  This is a favorite of many of my friends.

Rue La La – Another exclusive , invitation only on-line destination.  Members discover premiere brand-name, private sale boutiques – each open for a limited amount of time.

Beyond the Rack – Yet another private shopping club for men and women who want designer, brand apparel, accessories and home decor at prices up to 70% off retail.  They work with major brand, such as Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Prada, etc., to hold limited brand, limited quantity that are open exclusively to their members.
