In The Nude
I’m totally in love with Peacock Alley‘s new La Femme collection…
Peacock Alley says, “This classic yarn-dyed jacquard ensemble reveals that sophistication and sultriness can go to bed together.” I say, “Sophistication and sultriness is my new favorite couple!”
Aren’t these colors gorgeous? Find all of Peacock Alley’s delicious bedding here!

Not-So-Secret Stash
I shared, in an earlier post, about my plans to participate with three great friends in Dallas Market Center’s first ever FINDS temp show in the Vintage home section.
I don’t think any of us planned to have SO much fun and never dreamed that pulling all of our “vintage stash” and throwing it together would work so well!
We have received so many compliments and we are so appreciative and humbled by your huge support!
We don’t know what’s next, but we do think we’re on to something! If you’re planning to go to Market Sunday or Monday (1/22 & 23), please come see us at Market Hall (on the opposite side of cash and carry). We still have some great finds for you, including a HUGE industrial table on casters that needs to go home with someone special! We’ve all been keeping some of our stash in our cars so we can continue to ‘restyle’ and ‘refresh’, so we’ll have new items that come out tomorrow!
I’ll continue to keep you posted on what’s next for the Stash girls! We promise it will be good!
Get A Loaf Of This
I don’t own a bread-maker and I’ve never even considered making homemade bread because I’m petrified of trying anything with yeast. I usually buy Spelt bread from Whole Foods, so this recipe from Anja’s Food 4 Thought caught my eye. I immediately looked for the yeast in the ingredients and there was none! That means I would actually try this recipe! It’s quick and easy…just like the name of the bread!

Preheat oven to 200C/400F. Line loaf tin with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine spelt flour, oats, salt and baking soda. Stir in mixed seeds (keeping 1 tablespoon aside). Form a well in the middle of the flour mixture. Add buttermilk and gently stir until well combined. Transfer batter to prepared loaf tin. Level the top and sprinkle with remaining seeds. Bake for 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then cool completely on wire rack.
