One of my favorite things is my Jonathan Adler reversible letter pillow! I chose ‘K’ for Kelley, although I wish I had the whole alphabet! Some may think they’re a little pricey ($125) for a single pillow, but trust me…they are so worth it! You’ll never tire of this classic style and will find yourself moving it throughout your house for years to come!
If you’re like me and would love the whole alphabet, or feel the need to spell out a special message…something like, ‘Welcome to Jamaica! Have a nice day!’, then check out this PB Teen version on sale for $23 for a limited time only!
I’m quirky and I love quirky things, so this art, created by a mom and her 4-year-old-daughter, has really struck a chord with me!
Artist Mica Angela Hendricks daughter insisted that her mom share her new sketch book with her. Mica then heard her own words from her daughter. ”If you can’t share, we might have to take it away…” What happened next became a series of masterpieces! Mom creates the head and her daughter creates the rest… Brilliant!
I’m crazy about Corbin Pierce’s Heavenly State Clothing‘s first initial t-shirt release! At a sweet $18, this is sure to be my favorite stocking stuffer this Christmas!
Corbin had an idea and wasted no time in executing and now you can take advantage of showing your Texas pride in style! Here’s how it all happened in his words…
“Basically this all got started a few months ago! I was in between jobs and day dreaming at two of my friends Daniel and Becky’s breakfast table over coffee (what we now call our official board room) – I told them about my idea and they loved it so much we started drawing out designs on napkins – by 1pm that afternoon Becky had sent me photoshop renderings of what we had dreamt up and we were off. “
“Since I’d never done any sort business venture like this I was absolutely clueless as to how we were supposed to begin. I called my uncle Peter (a long time clothing store shop owner) with about a million questions and after spending an afternoon together I was on my way to copyrighting our brand “Heavenly State Clothing” and our products! After that I made calls to about 15 other people (ranging from lawyer friends to friend’s little sisters in sororities to marketing, accounting and artsy friends) asking their advice and gaining their input – that’s how this whole thing was built!”
